Card pull for Wednesday, December 18th, 2024

The Ace of Swords

Every morning I wake up, grab a deck, and draw a card just for a general vibe check and maybe to help some thought of something I've forgotten about rise to the surface. I usually don't really share these or even write them down but that is on my list of things to do for the upcoming year. 

I want to keep track of these pulls and see what kind of effect they really are having on my day-to-day functions.

This was yesterday's card for me and it did help. This is an action card, one of intellect and informed decision-making. 

Direction is very relevant in Tarot, and generally, the understanding is that movement to the right is forward movement. Generally speaking, sword cards speak of some sort of strife or difficulty but the Ace of Swords is more of a sign of finally reaching the light at the end of the tunnel. Victory after a long battle, finally making an informed choice that will benefit the future, and generally some good vibes.

I did make some small decisions yesterday that seem to have already helped to put me on the right track for a better future. I will continue to work toward better wielding this sword and continue forward with my head held a little higher as I feel I am on the right track.
